Jill Pfitzenmayer, Ph.D.

Jill Pfitzenmayer, Ph.D., joined the Foundation in 2008 as the Director for the Initiative for Nonprofit Excellence. Prior to coming to RIF, Jill was with Child & Family Services in Newport for eight years, where she was the Vice President for Organizational Quality & Training. She started the Newport Initiative for Nonprofit Leadership in 2007, a capacity-building program for agencies working with children and families.

Jill is a licensed psychologist, holds a doctorate from New York University and has worked in university, hospital and child welfare settings for over 25 years. She works in private practice and teaches graduate courses in the School of Education at Johnson & Wales University. Jill and her husband moved to Portsmouth from New York in 1999.
